⚫️🔵⚫️ 🇺🇸🇪🇺🇩🇪 SPANGDAHLEM/ BITBURG.
⚫️🔵⚫️ On May 15, 2019, we will support the USAF Security Police on the US Airbase Spangdahlem in helping their the festivities and events for the „NATIONAL POLICE WEEK 2019“ in honor of all fallen and living Law Enforcement Officers! Whether Polizei, State/ Federal Police, Politie, Polizia, Trooper, Sheriff, Marshal, SEK/ GSG/ SWAT, Warden, BKA, LKA, ZOLL, CBP, FBI and co. – They all have deserved more RESPECT and SUPPORT in protecting their community/ies!
With this invitation, we feel very honored and look forward to the cooperation with great joy and excitement – and with a very little pride in our volunteer work since 2016, which thus finds another, weighty positive confirmation. The #TributeCopCar is thus for the first time „home“ on US territory in (semi-)official use. Two more fellow Blue-Line tribute vehicles from Germany will follow and support us again on our mission.
In memory of all law enforcement personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice – and to support the living LEOs
The 52nd Security Forces Squadron organized events for National Police Week; May 13-17, 2019.
The week serves as an annual commemorative period to honor fallen military, domestic and international police officers and agents.
National Police Week is about remembering our law enforcement officers, it brings awareness to the base about the individuals that have fallen in the line of duty in service to the people and the country – we commemorate that and thank them.
The event serves as a fundraiser that sends a portion of its proceeds to a charity dedicated to supporting police officers and their families back in the United States.
The week closes with a retreat ceremony that pays tribute to fallen law enforcement officers.
On these days we are reminded that the security police badge is in the shape of a shield not to protect our lives, but to shield the rights and freedoms of those around us.
In the law enforcement world, there is a term, known as the thin blue line; a line of protection that extends beyond the police world and into the Air Force rank and file; a blue line that is made up from all of our defenders here this week.
We are happy to announce, that the 1st European Police tribute vehicle, „The Thin Blue Line tribute cop-car Germany“ – established 2016 – has been invited to represent The Thin Blue Line movement which stands for more awareness of the positive things all LEOs do for us – and to motivate the people to show more respect and support for those who protect them. But: More to come, more to see: On May 15th, 2019, the TributeCopCar will bring along and lead its fellow followers and befriended owners of the „Tribute Police Truck Germany“ (Dodge RAM1500 sport) – est. 2017 – and „Tribute Police Car Germany – Bergisches Land“ (Chryler C300 estate) – est. 2018 – to the event to stage and introduce these guys as well!
