Lange Jahre haben wir uns gefragt: „SHOP WITH A COP for Christmas“ – Ob das auch in Deutschland für bedürftige Kids möglich und machbar ist?
Nach den eigenen Social-Event-Erfolgen der letzen Jahre „Kids and Cops“ und „Blue Light Night/ Good Night Lights“, sowie „Coffe with a cop“ in Deutschland zu etablieren sind wir weiterhin mutig und planen eine weitere Deutschlandpremiere (wenn nicht sogar Europapremiere)!
Die Grund-Idee haben wir aus den USA mitgebracht. Wir bleiben gerne dran und werden versuchen, es mit Eurer Unterstützung umzusetzen – was meint Ihr dazu? In KANADA und den USA haben Polizisten, Wildhüter und Sheriffs in vielen Gemeinden ein Programm namens „Shop with a Cop“ (Kaufe mit einem Gesetzeshüter ein): Jeder von ihnen hat kurz vor Weihnachten ein unterprivilegiertes Kind im Einkaufszentrum dabei: Sie füllen & zahlen ihm den Einkaufswagen! Das ist für uns der wahre Geist von Weihnachten, den wir weiter verbreiten möchten!
Für uns wieder eine Herzenssache: Wir möchten eine Ordnungsbehörde bzw. Abteilung hierzulande ermutigen und – möglichst im Rheinland bzw. NRW-Süd/ RLP-Nord -, unsere Hilfe anbieten, dieses Konzept zu adaptieren, zu planen und zu realisieren!
Mit einem ca. 3-stündigen Zeitaufwand & einem überschaubaren finanziellen Aufwand für einen Einkauf können hier nicht nur benachteiligte Kids für einen Tag glücklich gemacht werden; Auch dieses sehr einprägsame, positive Erlebnis mit Gesetzeshütern wird die Kids ihr restliches Leben lang begleiten…

Die Frage ist: Welche Behörde legt mit unserer Unterstützung vor bzw. macht mit unserer Orga.-Hilfe den ersten Schritt?
Natürlich gab es das noch nie. Selbstverständlich ist das Neuland. Wir setzen mal ganz mutig ein Event-Datum fest. Jetzt liegt es an Euch, es mit Details zu füllen und wahr werden zu lassen!
It gets Christmassy again: „SHOP WITH A COP for Christmas“. – Will that be possible and feasible for needy kids in Germany? We are happy to stay tuned and will try to implement it with your support in the next few years – what do you think?
After our success-stories to introduce „Kids and Cops“, „Blue Light Nights/ Good Night Ligts“ as well as „Coffe with a cop“ to Germany within the past years, we are staying courageous and will implement this as a Germany premiere (or even Europe premiere)!
In CANADA and the US, police officers, game warden/ rangers and sheriffs in many communities have a program called “Shop with a Cop”: Each of them has an underprivileged child in the mall just before Christmas: They fill up & pay him the shopping cart! This is the true Christmas spirit we admire and would like to spread here!
For us again a „heart thing“: We would like to encourage a law enforcement authority or department in this country and – if possible in the Rhineland area – and offer our help to adapt this concept!
With about approximately 3 hours of time and a manageable financial outlay for shopping, not only disadvantaged kids can be made happy here, but also this very memorable positive experience with law enforcement officers will accompany the kids for the rest of their lives…
